They call themselves "Bavarian Gypsy Rockers," which puts Django 3000 firmly in line with the debate central of the 46th edition of Bardentreffen festival: Cultural appropriation and recognition. Their love for eastern European music can hardly be questioned though, injecting their folk-pop with frenzied Balkan rhythms and soaring violins.
