Lebanon: Syrian Refugees Scapegoated

For the past three months, the Lebanese army has been carrying out a campaign of expulsions of Syrian refugees. Some of them, such as Syrian army opponents and deserters, could be imprisoned, tortured or killed if they are handed over to Bashar al-Assad's regime. NGOs are protesting against this plot to blame the two million refugees for Lebanon's economic crisis.
