Brussels is one of the lobbying capitals of the world, with 35,000 lobbyists. Multinationals try to influence European policies to defend their own interests, to the detriment of the interests of European citizens. You've probably heard this criticism before, perhaps you even share it. But is it true or false? What other types of lobbyists are there? Are any of them there to protect our interests instead of their own?
