There are EU regulations on toys, sewage, online shopping, lorry drivers' breaks, washing machines, how big a pizza should be, leave from work after childbirth, even what time of the day it is at different times of the year – not to mention the now infamous case of how curvy is too curvy for a banana. The list goes on and on. Does the EU really meddle in everything? And who decides on these regulations?
