50th Prix de LausanneDay 4: Afternoon
It’s crunch time: The last afternoon of training as candidates try and impress before the selections.
The prestigious Prix de Lausanne celebrates its golden jubilee this year! In the newly renovated Théâtre de Beaulieu, the fiftieth edition brings together 87 young dancers from all over the world. Aged between 15 and 18, these promising young artists are competing to gain entry into the best international dance schools.
Candidates receive four days of classes and coaching led by leading figures in classical and contemporary dance with a selection day concluding this intensive period of training. Only the best will go through to the final on Saturday 4 February.
A busy programme on the last afternoon of training before the selections: First up is Monique Loudières and the girls of group A (15-16 years old) for classical variations coaching, then a contemporary class with Lakey Evans-Peña for the girls of group B (17-18 years old), followed by the boys of group B (17-18 years old) and the classical variations coaching by Nicolas Le Riche. The afternoon finishes with contemporary variations coaching for all female candidates.

13.00 – 14.00: Coaching of classical variations by Monique Loudières, Girls A
14:15 – 15.15: Contemporary class with Lakey Evans-Peña, Girls B
15.30 – 16.30: Classical variations coaching with Nicolas Le Riche, Boys B
13.45 – 18.30: Coaching of contemporary variations, Girls A and B
