Last day of training as candidates try and impress before the selections.
The prestigious Prix de Lausanne celebrates its golden jubilee this year! In the newly renovated Théâtre de Beaulieu, the fiftieth edition brings together 87 young dancers from all over the world. Aged between 15 and 18, these promising young artists are competing to gain entry into the best international dance schools.
Candidates receive four days of classes and coaching led by leading figures in classical and contemporary dance with a selection day concluding this intensive period of training. Only the best will go through to the final on Saturday 4 February.
On the last day of training before the selections, Julio Bocca leads a classical class with the boys of groups A and B. Then Nicolas Le Riche coaches classical variations with the younger male competitors.
