50th Prix de LausanneDay 2: Morning
The morning of Day 2 focuses on the youngest competitors and focuses on classical and contemporary dance.
The prestigious Prix de Lausanne celebrates its golden jubilee this year! In the newly renovated Théâtre de Beaulieu, the fiftieth edition brings together 87 young dancers from all over the world. Aged between 15 and 18, these promising young artists are competing to gain entry into the best international dance schools.
Candidates receive four days of classes and coaching led by leading figures in classical and contemporary dance with a selection day concluding this intensive period of training. Only the best will go through to the final on Saturday 4 February.
Tuesday morning is dedicated to boys and girls in group A (aged 15 and 16). The young men benefit from Julio Bocca's teaching before the girls have their contemporary class led by Lakey Evans-Peña.
