The family is trying to choose a name for the unborn baby. A renowned photographer is to photograph the ladies of the house, a prospect that is particularly exciting for the cook, Mrs. Thackeray. Sir Hallam has taken in Rachel's daughter, Lotte, and she now lives with the staff. Since her mother's passing, Lotte has not spoken. The residents of Eaton Place 165 try to help her, until Lady Maud takes matters into her own hands. Unlike Lady Persie, Spargo has distanced himself from the fascist party since Rachel's death.
