Upstairs Downstairs: Season 1 (2/3)
There's a lot going on in the Holland household: Lady Agnes is pregnant, and feeling both joyful and apprehensive. She’s miscarried before. Rose Buck, now the housekeeper at 165 Eaton Place, takes on another servant: Rachel Perlmutter, a Jewish woman from Hamburg. Rachel left Germany due to rising National Socialism, and is horrified by England’s own fascist tendencies. Even in the Holland household, there are supporters of the British Union of Fascists, including Chauffeur Spargo and Lady Persie.
