Dispatches From Ukraine: Local Journalists ReportVolunteers on the Front
As war rages in southeastern Ukraine, Odessa, located further west, has so far been spared hostilities. But this cultural and economic metropolis of a million inhabitants, nicknamed the "Pearl of the Black Sea", is preparing for attack. Ukrainian journalists filmed the daily life of a volunteer supplying the front line. These images were shot on March 10 and 11.
