<p>14 candidates from all over the world compete for the Maestra prize in the 2022 edition of the international competition to find the best female conductor. Three contestants remain in the final where they must present a work from the classical repertoire and a contemporary creation.  The competition is live on ARTE Concert.</p>

Live from Vilnius, Lithuania, a special concert to show solidarity with the Ukrainian people on Lithuanian independence day. Under the baton of principal conductor Ričardas Šumila and Ukrainian conductor Margaryta Grynyvetska, the Lithuanian National Opera Orchestra performs works by Ukrainian composers Valentyn Sylvestrov and Myroslav Skoryk, as well as Ludwig van Beethoven, in the presence of Lithuanian prime minister Ingrida Šimonytė.
