The traveler, journalist and occasional spy Graham Greene had already achieved notoriety with his work The Third Man, when he plunged into the turbulent nightlife of the Cuban capital with relish. His novel Our Man in Havana was published just a few weeks before Fidel Castro and his guerrillas came to power.
