On February 17, 2011, the youth of Benghazi found the courage to stand up against strongman Muammar Gaddafi. A new government of national unity has just been appointed, but the country is divided between the coastal towns in the West that rose up during the revolution, and the East, controlled with an iron fist by General Khalifa Haftar.
