Raqqa, capital of the self-proclaimed "caliphate" of ISIS jihadists was one of the first large towns to fall into their hands in 2014. Three years later, supported by an international coalition, the Arab-Kurdish force succeeded in driving them out of the territory. But the city is almost destroyed, including its museum.
