Why is Switzerland so rich?

How is it possible for a country as small as Switzerland, practically devoid of raw materials, to be one of the richest in the world? The answer lies in the country’s rich economic history, which stretches back over 500 years. Its geographical location, position of neutrality in wartime, high-quality education system, exploitation of resources, but also immigration, all play a role.
