The Fighters
Just 50 years ago, women in Switzerland did not have the right to vote. This is unimaginable for young politician Kelly Jessica. She meets four women who fought for suffrage, at a time when Swiss women could not open a bank account, much less expect to have a career – or a say in how their country was run. This right was not granted until 1971, 53 years after their neighbours in Germany and 52 after those in Austria.
