Ghost Month in Taiwan
The island of Taiwan has a distinct culture, and ancestral traditions are still a part of life. People consult oracles and communicate with spirits. Every year during Ghost Month, Taiwanese people offer the spirits who watch over them elaborate paper gifts so that the ghosts continue to protect them.
