Croatia is seeking skilled workers
Since it joined the EU ten years ago, Croatia has been struggling with mass emigration. Labour shortages in various sectors like medicine, construction or postal services have propped up as a result. Now, workers from beyond European borders like Jonathan, a Filipino postal worker, are being brought in to fill the gap.
This programme by German channel ZDF is part of The European Collection, a joint initiative of European public media (ARD, ARTE, France Télévisions, SRG SSR and ZDF), coordinated by ARTE.
