Hydrogen buses in Barcelona
Barcelona has introduced eight buses than run on hydrogen to its public transport system. They are refueled each night at the city’s port. This environmentally friendly technology has gone down well with residents, and more buses are on their way.
This programme by German channel ZDF is part of The European Collection, a joint initiative of European public media (ARD, ARTE, France Télévisions, SRG SSR and ZDF), coordinated by ARTE.
