Sonja Vujanovic, 97, was the first Serbian woman member of the Partisans, the Yugoslav armed communist movement led by Tito, which fought against the Nazis and Italian fascists. Captured in 1942 and deported, she became one of the leaders of the resistance movement in the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp.
