To mark its 150th anniversary, the Vienna State Opera presents an exceptional evening of music in the company of some illustrious guests: Nina Stemme, Erwin Schrott, Roberto Alagna, Sonya Yoncheva and Valentina Nafornita will perform some of the great arias of the repertoire, accompanied by the Choir and Orchestra of the Vienna State Opera, under the direction of Italian conductor Marco Armiliato. The evening will be presented by Annette Gerlach (in German).

Against the tumultuous backdrop of the European elections, Vienna – Europe’s historical music capital – celebrates the 150th anniversary of its Staatsoper. On 25 May 1869, the legendary auditorium was inaugurated with a performance of Mozart’s Don Giovanni.
