Brecht Evens started off making comics the traditional way, but his art studies triggered a lightbulb moment. There's no more boundary between highbrow and lowbrow art for him, as he takes his comic style and deconstructs it. All the boxes, speech bubbles, and usual visual cues of most comics are gone. What's left is a colourful universe that plays with lines, persepectives, and realities.
