Bautzen, a small idyllic town in eastern Germany, made international headlines in 2016 with a series of racist attacks and flashpoints between far-right groups and asylum seekers. Many locals are frustrated that their home was then branded a ‘racist’ town, before the media spotlight moved on elsewhere. This ten-part documentary, filmed in 2019 over six months, gives local people a voice without passing judgement.
