During the Iran-Iraq war, the newly founded Islamic Republic of Iran used photography as a propaganda tool. Young war photographer Saeid Sadeghi was sent to the front to record the young nation’s heroic resistance to the Iraqi invader. This film focuses on his experience on the frontline and how the government used his photographs to strengthen their ideology.
