Lee Scratch Perry, born in 1936, is one of the most influential producers and musicians of the second half of the 20th century. In addition to the invention of Dub (together with King Tubby), we also owe reggae and sampling technique to him. As a producer, he worked on songs for Bob Marley and Max Romeo.
