April 2015: Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old African-American from Baltimore, was brutally killed by a police officer - his spine was almost snapped. He hadn't committed a crime. He was JWB - jogging while black. Peaceful marches followed which escalated into riots. Using the eloquent portraits, African-American photographers challenge the stereotypes that are literally killing people.
