Sacro Bosco, which means "sacred wood", is a mysterious garden located in the north-east of Rome. It was created in the 1550s by the lord Vincino Orsini. His work is inspired by the Etruscan civilisation and the Mannerist movement. Then the garden was abandoned until the middle of the 20th century, where it was revived, influenced by Salvador Dalí.
