Over the course of the subsequent two weeks, ten documentary portraits of the chosen playwrights will be broadcast on weekdays in primetime. The individual playwrights will each be presented by celebrity advocates, personalities from the world of international culture.
The climax and culmination of this TV event will be the King Of Drama broadcast, the grand finale live from the Admiralspalast in Berlin on September 20th, 2008, with international stars and experts from the world of theatre, onstage performances, thrilling discussions and the final ballot to determine Europe’s most important playwright.
